Liz has been my mentor for almost nine years...when Liz also offered “Joining in Christ” I felt instinctively drawn to this process. The half hour spent in this beautiful silent joining has allowed me, especially after a recent heart surgery and ensuing infection, a freedom to experience health, love and joy within and without. The results of my first joining were highly unexpected…during joining there were no spiritual fireworks…Liz simply seemed to “go somewhere else beyond”…and she invited me to come along. Love, pure and simple, this is what joining in Christ is. It is how God loves me…Laughter, joy, peace and love are more prevalent in experience. Ego, likened to a dripping, sniffling seasonal allergy of sorts, followed with a soft, gentle tissue of knowing . . . and this too shall pass. I've been joining in Christ for some months now and what has been unfolding in this speed up, in this deepening of Awareness is, well, the speed up for one and recently I was shown with an, Ah ha, an article by Liz titled, "The Shift in I". Also I have been gleefully recognizing judgment and wanting loosening, the past falling away. There too, a sense of lifting and expansion where even words flow more towards the abstract. This unique and inspired service of the Spirit is so pure and simple, its impact may go overlooked at first. It often feels like pushing a mental "pause button" in the ego’s narrative, allowing an Inner Light to reveal itself, in whatever ways that are helpful at the time. I’ve experienced creative visions of inspiration, solutions to problems, physical relaxation, inner stillness, and the emotional resolution of stress as a result. In silence I can often become distracted by the monkey mind's antics, yet what has become increasingly clear through Liz’s service is that there is always an Inner Light patiently waiting to reveal Itself through our willingness to turn within, in the spirit of joining. - MF, New York
